Milwaukee Bucks Playoffs Push | Milwaukee Bucks Tickets

It's getting to be the home stretch for our Milwaukee Bucks and the Bucks are making their playoffs push.  Due to the NBA lockout, the regular Milwaukee Bucks season will last a little bit longer than usual. However, we're hoping it will last a lot longer because of the playoffs. Our Milwaukee Bucks are two games behind the New York Knicks for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. A win in New York on Monday night would have been huge for the Bucks, but last night's win against Atlanta was a step in the right direction. How about Monta Ellis's 33 points? Finally, the new Buck is showing us his talent!
The Milwaukee Bucks need your support at the Bradley Center so that they can make it into the playoffs. Get your Milwaukee Bucks tickets and cheer the Bucks all the way to the playoffs! Here's a look at some of their upcoming games:

Saturday, March 31st, 7:30 PM: Bucks vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Wednesday, April 4th, 7:00 PM: Bucks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Friday, April 6th, 7:30 PM: Bucks vs. Charlotte Bobcats
Saturday, April 7th, 7:30 PM: Bucks vs Portland Trail Blazers

Also, the Milwaukee Bucks will have one more chance to defeat the New York Knicks for once and for all. On Wednesday, April 11th, the Knicks return to the Bradley Center for one more game. Maybe that's when the Bucks will nab that playoff spot!

Miranda Lambert Bradley Center Tickets

Have no fear, country fans, because you still have time to get your Miranda Lambert Bradley Center tickets if you have not done so already. Miranda Lambert will be performing at the Bradley Center on Thursday, April 19th with Chris Young and Jerrod Nieman as a part of her On Fire tour. Ticket King Milwaukee can help you find great seats for this show in the floor sections of the Bradley Center.

For those of you who are not well-acquainted with the Miranda Lambert's music, Lambert got her start when she was a finalist on Nashville Star, the American Idol-type reality show for aspiring country musicians. Soon after that, she signed a record deal with Epic Records and began pumping out top 40 hits. Lambert has racked up numerous awards over the years and has started working on a side project called Pistol Annies, which features the vocal stylings of Lambert and two other women. On a side note, Miranda Lambert is married to popular country star Blake Shelton. I wonder if he'll make a surprise appearance during her concert at the Bradley Center!

Aerosmith To Headline Summerfest July 7th

Aerosmith has been added to the Summerfest 2012 Marcus Amphitheater lineup. The famous rockers are coming to Milwaukee to rock your socks off during Summerfest on Saturday, July 7th at 8PM as a part of The Global Warming Tour. Frontman Steven Tyler vows that the band is full of energy and is ready to rock in the States after a successful overseas tour. Joined by special guest Cheap Trick, this will truly be a night of classic rock. Rock N' Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith burst on the music scene over 40 years ago and have since sold over 150 million copies of their albums. In addition to selling millions of albums, Aerosmith has also racked up scores of awards over the years including Grammys, American Music awards, and even one Soul Train award. That's right, Aerosmith won a Soul Train award in 1979 for best rap single "Walk This Way" which was a collaboration with Run DMC. Aerosmith Summerfest tickets will become available March 31st.

July 7th's Aerosmith concert at Summerfest will feature all the Aerosmith favorites as well as some of their newer songs. It's great to see that a band like Aerosmith booked for the Marcus Amphitheater during Summerfest. The last time I saw Steven Tyler perform in Milwaukee was in 2010 when he made a surprise appearance during Farm Aid. He was in town to judge American Idol auditions and popped up on stage to sing. That was definitely a nice treat.

Aerosmith joins the likes of Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, Iron Maiden, Big Time Rush as the 2012 Summerfest Marcus Ampitheater headliners. Who else would you like to see added to the lineup?

Two Weeks Until Brewers Opening Day | Milwaukee Brewers Tickets

Two weeks until Brewers Opening Day! All over Milwaukee, Brewers fans are abuzz with excitement over the beginning of Brewers season. The recent weather has made me feel as though we were already deep into the Brewers season, but the wait for Brewers baseball will soon come to an end. Two weeks from today, I will be sitting at the 400 level inside Miller Park, cheering the Brew Crew on to victory against the Cardinals. I cannot wait! I've already been planning my Opening Day tailgate extravaganza and I just hope the weather works in our favor. If you haven't already done so, you can still grab your Brewers tickets for Opening Day. Speaking of the Brewers, this should be another exciting season the team. Despite the loss of Prince Fielder, the Brewers still have strength in their lineup especially now that Ryan Braun has been exonerated. Do you think the Brewers will make another deep playoffs run this season?

Milwaukee Bucks Going For Seven Straight Wins | Milwaukee Bucks Tickets

The Milwaukee Bucks are going for seven straight wins tonight! Head on over to the Bradley Center to see the Bucks vs. Celtics at 7PM. This is the longest winning streak for the Bucks this season and they need the support of fans to keep the momentum going into the playoffs.  Tonight's game also marks the first home game for our new Bucks Monta Ellis and Ekpe Udoh. You will not want to miss this exciting action!  I don't want to jump the gun yet, but I think we'll see another Bucks playoff run this year. It's great to see the Milwaukee Bucks playing good basketball and they deserve the support of all Milwaukeeans. Ticket King has your Milwaukee Bucks tickets for tonight's game and all Bucks games. You can pick up your tickets in our downtown Milwaukee office or at our will call booth at Major Goolsby's, located just a block south of the Bradley Center. If you decide to pick up your Bucks tickets at Major Goolsby's, you can do so starting one hour prior to the game. Go Bucks!

KISS and Motley Crue to Play Alpine Valley 9/8 | Alpine Valley Tickets

Legendary heavy metal rockers KISS and Motley Crue will make a stop at Alpine Valley on September 8th as a part of their summer tour aptly named "The Tour." Though I don't like to use the word "epic," this show will certainly be epic. Between the costumes, the pyrotechnics, the makeup, and the fact that these two bands have not played together since...since...since a very long time ago, this show will certainly go down in the history books as legendary. You won't to miss KISS and Motley Crue at Alpine Valley this September. Ticket King Milwaukee will have KISS and Motley Crue tickets when they become available.

Speaking of Alpine Valley, this year's lineup at Alpine Valley is shaping up to be much plumper than last year's. Last year, the outdoor music venue only had two shows: Jimmy Buffet in June and Pearl Jam in September. This year, both Phish and the Dave Matthews Band are playing two-night shows. I'm guessing Jimmy Buffet will also be added to this year's lineup at some point. If you've never been to Alpine Valley, you must go! It's a great venue for outdoor music and there is a lot of space in the parking lot to tailgate before the show. I've never been to an Alpine Valley show that I didn't like.

There is truly something for everyone in this year's Summerfest Marcus Amphitheater lineup. While there are still five dates that have yet to be determined, already there are country acts Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, pop act and teen favorite Big Time Rush, heavy metal act Iron Maiden with Alice Cooper, and old-time favorites the Beach Boys and Neil Diamond. It's never too early to start planning your summer concert adventures. It's also fun to start guessing which acts will be added to the Marcus Amphitheater lineup. Who would you like to see headline at Summerfest this year?

New Milwaukee Bucks Players' First Home Game 3/22 | Milwaukee Bucks Tickets

See the new Milwaukee Bucks players' first home game on Thursday, March 22nd vs. the Boston Celtics. New Milwaukee Bucks Monta Ellis and Ekpe Udoh will play their first games at the Bradley Center as Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. The Bucks acquired Ellis and Udoh from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Andrew Bogut. Ellis and Udoh appeared with the Bucks for the first time this past Friday, when the Bucks traveled to California to play the Warriors. What a concidence. The Milwaukee Bucks easily won, 120-98m racking up their fourth straight win. It seems as though this trade has revitalized the Bucks locker room. Will we see another playoffs run for the Milwaukee Bucks? Get your Milwaukee Bucks tickets and find out!

Black Keys Bradley Center Tickets

The Black Keys w/ Arctic Monkeys 2012 tour is underway! So far the reviews for the two bands have been very positive. As I've mentioned several times before, you will not want to miss the Black Keys concert at the Bradley Center on May 16th. We are spoiled here in Milwaukee because we have been treated to concerts by the Black Keys twice within less than a year. Their performance at last year's Summerfest was by far the best show of the festival. If you missed that show, you'll have your chance to redeem yourself on May 16th at the Bradley Center. I'm looking forward to this concert so I already grabbed my Black Keys tickets. Won't you join me for an evening of awesome rock at the Bradley Center?

Where Should I Sit at Miller Park? | Milwaukee Brewers Tickets

When customers who have never been to Miller Park purchase Brewers tickets, a popular question they ask is, "Where should I sit at Miller Park?" As a Miller Park-going veteran, I often respond with, "there's not a bad seat in the house," which I believe to be true. I've never sat in a seat that I didn't like at Miller Park.  However, when deciding where to sit at Miller Park, I think it's important to first think about what do you, the diehard Brewers fan, want to get out of the game? Do you want to just get into the stadium and mosey around the park? If yes, then I'd suggest getting a ticket for any 400-level seat. That way you can get into the stadium and wander around the park without breaking the bank. Are you trying to catch a ball? If so, then any 100 or 200-level ticket would be best for you. Do you want to see the players' facial expressions? Then, I'd suggest sitting as low as possible in the 100-level between the two dugouts. Do you want Corey Hart to give you a high-five? Then, you should get tickets in the right field bleacher sections. Do you want club amenities? Then, purchase a ticket in the 300-level, which is the club level. I truly believe that there is no bad seat at Miller Park, so if you've never been to a game before, know that it is impossible to buy the "wrong" Brewers ticket.

Phish Alpine Valley Tickets

Great news for Phish fans! Phish will perform for two nights this summer at Alpine Valley: Saturday, June 30th and Sunday, July 1st. Phish concerts are truly unique experiences as no two concerts are ever alike. Phish concerts feature extended jam sessions of their songs and song lineups are never the same. Phish's sound incorporates a wide variety of types of music including (but certainly not limited to) folk, rock, jazz, psychedelic rock, classical, funk, and country.

Phish gained widespread popularity primarily through word-of-mouth. A huge culture formed around the band's tours with fans often trading recordings of live shows (similar to the way the Grateful Dead gained popularity). The band released its 14th studio album, Joy, in 2009. Phish last performed at Alpine Valley for two nights in August of 2010. It's great to see them back again. Phish tickets are available for both nights.

Milwaukee Bucks in the Playoff Hunt | Milwaukee Bucks Tickets

With a shortened season and the loss of Andrew Bogut, the Milwaukee Bucks' chances of making the playoffs seemed grim. Not anymore! The Milwaukee Bucks are within spitting distance of the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference and if they continue winning as they have been, I think we'll see them in this year's playoffs. If you haven't been to a Bucks game this year, you need to go to the Bradley Center and support the team! At last Friday's home game against the New York Knicks, the atmosphere inside the Bradley Center was electric. Get your Milwaukee Bucks tickets today and cheer our home team onto victory. They need (and deserve) our support. Wouldn't it be great to have another playoff run at the Bradley Center as we did during the 2009-2010 season? I think it would.

Remember, if you decide to get your Milwaukee Bucks tickets closer to the start of a game, you can easily pick up your tickets from our will call booth at Major Goolsby's, located one block south of the Bradley Center at 340 W. Kilbourn.

Barry Manilow Concert Date Changed | Milwaukee Theatre Tickets

Due to scheduling conflicts, Barry Manilow's concert at the Milwaukee Theatre has been changed from Saturday, April 28th to Saturday, August 4th. If you've already purchased Barry Manilow tickets, your tickets will be honored for the new date. If you have not already purchased tickets, you still have time to get your Barry Manilow Milwaukee Theatre tickets.

Manilow's tour is in promotion of his latest album, 15 Minutes--the first album of original songs that he's released in 10 years. It's nice to see a celebrated pop artist of Barry Manilow's stature continuing to release original albums. In addition to singing and performing, Barry Manilow also produces and arranges albums and writes music for musicals, commercials, and movies. He's produced albums for Dionne Warwick and Bette Midler and has been a staple for many years at the Las Vegas Hilton. It's a rare opportunity to see Barry Manilow perform in Milwaukee, so if you're a fan, you must go to the show!

Dave Matthews Band Alpine Valley Tickets

It never fully feels like summer until the Dave Matthews Band performs at Alpine Valley. After all, the band has performed at Alpine Valley for two nights every year since 1999 (with the exception of 2000 and 2011). This summer, the Dave Matthews Band will perform for two nights at the outdoor music venue in East Troy. On Friday, July 6th and Saturday, July 7th, the Dave Matthews Band will dazzle crowds with hits off their eighth (and latest) studio album as well as their older hits. That's the one thing you can always count on from the Dave Matthew Band-- they always put together a perfect combination of new songs and old favorites. Dave Matthews Band Alpine Valley tickets are now available.

Check out this clip from the Dave Matthews Band concert at Alpine Valley in 2009:

Marcus Amphitheater Tickets

Yesterday's warmer temperatures made me think about Summerfest 2012 and how excited I am to ride the Glider and listen to some awesome bands this summer. Speaking of awesome bands, how about this year's Marcus Amphitheater headliners? There are still several dates that have not yet been announced, but there is certainly something for everyone in this year's Marcus Amphitheater Summerfest lineup. I'd like to see Neil Diamond, just because he's so iconic in the pop world. I'll admit, I do like belting out "Sweet Caroline" whenever the song comes on. I've also heard good things about the Zac Brown band, so I'll probably make it a point to see them. And because I'm such a nice relative, I'm thinking about taking my dad to see the Beach Boys and my nieces to Big Time Rush. Time to get my Marcus Amphitheater tickets.

Now, another question I often consider is "where should I sit at the Marcus Amphitheater?" Over the years, I've pretty much sat in every possible seat that you could possibly think of at the Marcus Amphitheater. To be honest, I have enjoyed sitting in the lawn seats. I've also enjoyed sitting in the third row from the stage. For me, it all depends on who I'm attending the concert with and how big of fans of the band we are. I like a good outdoor concert, so sometimes I'll buy lawn seats just to hear good live music, regardless of who's playing that particular night. Once I bought Marcus Amphitheater tickets because I got caught in a rainstorm and I opted to sit in the yellow section so that I could be under the cover. Last summer, my favorite band headlined the Marcus Amphitheater so I splurged and got third row seats. There is not a bad seat in the house, it's just a matter of how close you want to be to the band. You can't go wrong!

In case you've forgotten, here's the Summerfest lineup for the Marcus Amphitheater thus far:

  • Lady Antebellum w/ Darius Rucker--Saturday, June 30th
  • Beach Boys--Sunday, July 1st
  • Iron Maiden w/ special guest Alice Cooper--Wednesday, July 4th
  • Zac Brown Band--Thursday, July 5th
  • Big Time Rush--Friday, July 6th
  • Neil Diamond--Sunday, July 8th
There are still five slots remaining to be filled for the Marcus Amphitheater Summerfest lineup. Who would you like to see added?

Linsanity Comes to the Bradley Center | Milwaukee Bucks Tickets

The Milwaukee Bucks current three game home series will conclude on Friday with a visit from Linsanity. That's right, the Milwaukee Bucks will host the New York Knicks this Friday at 7:30 PM.
Get your Milwaukee Bucks tickets and cheer the Bucks on to victory. Do the Milwaukee Bucks have what it takes to squelch Linsanity for once and for all? It seems that the Bucks have a good momentum going. They pulled off an impressive win Monday night over the Philadelphia 76ers (bonus: Aaron Rodgers was in attendance). Tonight, the Bucks host the Chicago Bulls. The Bucks have not had the best look with the Bulls in recent times, but that could all change tonight. If you decide to go to Friday's Bucks vs. Knicks game, remember that you can pick up your tickets from our will call booth at Major Goolsby's one hour prior to the game. Go Bucks!

One Month Until Brewers Opening Day | Milwaukee Brewers Tickets

Guess what, Brewers fans? Only one month until Brewers Opening Day! I'm so excited that I already ironed my Braun jersey so that it will be in tip-top shape for the big game. In case you've forgotten, Brewers' Opening Day is Friday, April 6th against the St. Louis Cardinals. Game starts at 3:10. I'm hoping for a miraculously warm day. Remember the weather we had a couple of years ago on Opening Day? Blue skies, warm temperatures, it was perfect. The Brewers vs. Cardinals opening series should be an exciting one especially after last year's playoffs run. I'm just glad that Braun will not be suspended at all this season. Corey Hart may miss Opening Day due to a knee injury, but he should be back in no time. Don't forget to get your Milwaukee Brewers tickets for Opening Day and for the rest of the season! You guys, it's Milwaukee Brewers season! Go Brew Crew!

Wisconsin vs. Illinois Tickets 3/4 | Wisconsin Basketball Tickets

It's getting to be about that time, the time when the Wisconsin Badgers regular basketball season comes to a close. Don't miss your last opportunity to see the Badgers play at the Kohl Center this season. This Sunday, our Wisconsin Badgers host the Illinois Illini at the Kohl Center. Get your Wisconsin vs. Illinois tickets for Sunday's game while you still can. The Badgers basketball team claimed an exciting road win last Sunday at Ohio State, breaking a long standing streak of consecutive road losses to top-10 Big Ten opponents. Their win against Ohio State marked the first time since 1980 that the Badgers defeated a top-10 Big Ten team. Way to go, Badgers!
