Packers 2012 Preseason Games at Lambeau Field

Green Bay Packers Preseason
The Green Bay Packers played their second 2012 preseason game last night, losing to the Cleveland Browns, 35-10.  Packers fans want to see more from the defense this year, and two players stood out at Lambeau on Thursday evening. Two rookies look to contribute this season, and were doing good things in the secondary.  Casey Hayward was as close to a pick six as you can get, when he got in front of Josh Gordon’s outstretched arms.  Throughout the night, he managed to keep his man in check, but for a few completions.
Jerron McMillian showed some spark in the second quarter when he had a solo tackle for a two yard loss, and stuffed Brandon Jackson on a short gain just a couple plays later. McMillian loves to hit, and the Packers coaching staff is honing his skills accordingly. He’s fighting for a spot in the nickel and dime defense, and has to prove that he’s a better bet than Anthony Levine or M.D. Jennings.

Aaron Rodgers Connects With Jordy Nelson

Aaron Rodgers found Jordy Nelson in the end zone on a play that he basically repeated, after Nelson came up short on a pass down the sideline. Aaron looked sharp, and played just enough to get loose, before Harrell took over for most of the night. Graham has some work to do, but it’s looking like he will secure the spot of backup. Next up for the Packers is another Thursday night game.  They head to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals. Game time is set for 6pm.  Green Bay Packers tickets for the final preseason game are on sale now.
