Music In Wisconsin This Summer | Ticket King Inc.

rock music Milwaukee
Ticket King has happy to announce some great "Classic Rock" shows coming to Milwaukee and Green Bay this summer. First up, it's Billy Joel, at Lambeau Field on June 17th. This one can't be missed. Billy will play right on the field. How often do fans of the Packers and great music get the chance to sit at Lambeau and rock out?

Just announced, it's Roger Waters at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on July 29th. Tickets go on sale this Monday for one of the great rock and roll heroes from Pink Floyd. It's been a few years since Waters came to Milwaukee, and this one is sure to be huge.

Summerfest 2017 will be the big "50th." Coming to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater so far: Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Zac Brown Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Luke Bryan.

Patti Smith comes to the Milwaukee Theater on March 9th. It's been 38 years since Smith performed in town, and the setting for this show could not be better. For tickets to any event listed here, just check the links. Ticket King has you covered!

2017 Quarterback Draft Class Worst in Years? | Ticket King Inc.

It is no secret, 2017 is the worst quarterback draft class in recent memory. It is why the best option for teams looking to draft a quarterback this year might be to trade for Tom Brady's backup, Jimmy Garrapolo. It is why Texas Tech quarterback Pat Mahomes, not even a thought to be drafted a year ago today, has risen into second round consideration. Here are my thoughts on the various quarterbacks available.

Mitch Trubisky: There is one franchise quarterback in this draft, and that is North Carolina's Mitch Trubisky. He is mobile, has a strong arm, and can make all the throws with zip and accuracy. He should, and will be the first quarterback off the board.

Deshaun Watson: The most famous quarterback in this draft is Clemson's Deshaun Watson. Of course, his college coach Dabo Sweeney thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread. However, I think he is more of a career backup/borderline starter than anything. He is decent; he has a nice mixture of decent running and throwing skills. But there is nothing in him that pops off the charts to me. He is not an attention grabber, so to speak.

Deshone Kizer: Notre Dame's Deshone Kizer is perhaps the most overrated quarterback we have seen in quite some time. He is just a bigger version of Michael Vick although not as fast. The NFL has figured out how to deal with running quarterbacks. In fact, Michael Vic ranks at #8 for running quarterbacks, going all the way back to the 1960’s. Kizer has bust written all over him.

Pat Mahomes: Listen, it's not that the scouts don't like this guy. He's a decent hard-working quarterback. But this is what happens when you have a weak quarterback class, and enough NFL teams desperate to fill the position. He just not NFL starting material.

Brad Kaaya: This is the unknown player, the “enigma” of the class. Kaaya is a slowly rising but unknown talent. I think he could be good with the right coaching and situation. However, that is a long shot because all of the teams that would provide that for him have their guy.

Nathan Peterman: The Pittsburgh quarterback currently sits in round five. He's never going to start, but he could be someone's backup solution.

Chad Kelly: Only in this weak class could a guy who was kicked out of one program, refused to work at the next program, suffered a season ending injury early last season, and was not invited to the NFL combine would be considered a 6th round draft choice. This guy is a talented, but arrogant, injury prone young man, and I wouldn't go anywhere near him.

MLB Makes Moves Before Spring Training | Ticket King Inc.

We are less than a week away from the first players reporting for Major League Baseball Spring Training. Here are some questions that will be asked and answered this season.

How will Andrew McCutchen adjust to right field? Pittsburgh Pirates star Andrew McCutchen, considered to be by many over the last few years to be one of the two or three best players in the game, is moving to right field this season after spending his entire career in center. It is a safe bet to say that he will translate well, as we have seen this many times in baseball where an elite center fielder moves to left or right.

How will Ryan Braun play after an off season of daily trade speculation? It is no secret, the Milwaukee Brewers placed Ryan Braun on the trade block a long time ago, and as soon as David Stearns finds a deal he likes, Braun will be on the next plane out of Milwaukee. But that hasn't happened yet. For the meantime Braun is still a Brewer, and their right fielder.

How will Miguel Sano do now that he is the Twins everyday third basemen? Former Twins mega-prospect Miguel Sano was blocked the last two years at third base by Trevor Plouffe. They tried him in left field last year and that was a disaster. This off season, the Twins released Plouffe, clearing the way for Sano at third base. He should have a big season because of it.

How will the young Cubs handle being World Series champions? The Cubs are a great team, but for the first time, they are World Series champions. How will they handle the pressure? Time will tell us that.

Can the Indians recover emotionally from the World Series? The Cleveland Indians suffered one of the biggest meltdowns in sports history, blowing a 3-1 series lead, losing in seven games. Of course, blowing big leads seems to be a theme in sports lately. If the Indians can get back to the postseason this year after blowing that lead, it will be one of the best accomplishments ever, and a real testament to their internal fortitude.

How will the Yankees handle being one of the worst teams in baseball this season? For the first time in a long time, the New York Yankees will not be considered a contender, or even a sleeper, entering the season. In fact, they might finish with one of the 10 worst records in the game. How will the Yankees and their fans handle that kind of season?

What direction will the Tigers go? The Detroit Tigers are 2017's old, overpaid, underachieving baseball team. The Tigers were rumored to be interested in moving many of their older expensive pieces this offseason, but nothing materialized. What will they do in regards to that during the season?

Pink Tickets | Summerfest 2017 | Ticket King Inc.

Pink Summerfest tickets
Summerfest 2017 will feature Pink for one night, on the Marcus Amphitheater stage. Pink tickets have gone on sale, and tickets can be found on our site. All tickets include admission to the entire Summerfest grounds. Pink has yet to announce any other show for 2017 than the date in Milwaukee. More news is sure to follow.

Pink, the gymnast turned entertainer has sold close to 50 million albums since she first hit the scene in 2000. Though most artists would have produced more work in that same time frame, Pink isn't one to be rushed into doing anything that she doesn't want to do. That includes producing more albums. In 2010, Pink released a greatest hits album. It covered the first ten years of music produces by Pink.

Tom Petty Summerfest 2017 Tickets | Ticket King Inc.

Tom Petty Tickets Summerfest
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will return to Milwaukee for Summerfest 2017. This is a two night affair, with Petty tickets already on sale. Petty will perform on July 5th and 6th, with Chris Stapleton as the opening act. This will be the 14th and 15th "Big Gig" performances for Petty. He holds the record for returning headline acts over the 49 years the festival has been running.

Petty Fans Love His Work

Petty has a catalog that includes 13 full length releases, going back to  1976. He hit "Gold" with his third album, titled Damn the Torpedoes. That disk contained three songs (Don't Do Me Like That, Refugee, Here Comes My Girl,) that album went platinum, way back in the day. His next album produces the hit song "The Waiting." In 1991, Petty released "Into the Great Wide Open" an album that charted in the top 15 in the United States, and reached lofty heights in four other countries. Ten of his albums reached "Gold" status in sales, and five of those made it to "Platinum." Petty has the ability to reach a very broad audience.

Petty Tours in Support of Live Album

Tom Petty's last release was a live album titled "Live at Fenway Park." It was a self release that hasn't charted. If you head to a Petty show, you can be assured that you will be entertained all night long. So many great songs have come from this artist's mind. Fans in Milwaukee will agree with us.
